The Tillingham
Festival of Arts is a biennial event in the small village
of Tillingham on the Dengie
Peninsula. Since its
inception in 1991 the festival has successfully achieved
its aim to provide high quality arts activities, both professional
and amateur, for local residents. |

Here in St Nicholas'
Church, Tillingham, we
hold our Festival of the Performing Arts once every two years
with
single concerts
in the years between, to bring international performers to
Tillingham together with high quality local professional
and amateur artists and music makers. Why? So that the community
may enjoy a variety of arts activities without the need to
travel far or to pay London prices for tickets. The benefit
of first class concerts in a rural area with its own delights
to offer, has been the festival's aim from the first: it
is why we became a registered charity. |
